Sisterwives 10/2 Spoilers
Do you think that if the Brown family wants to expose their kids to the Mormon faith, Vegas may not have been the best place? I do realize they were pressured to leave Utah because of the investigation but there have got to be other communities w/ a strong Mormon faith they could have gone to.

Exactly.Even when they lived in Utah they spent money like no one's business. The parents and the kids who are old enough need to get jobs and contribute to the household. I know Janelle was seeking work, but the others haven't even mentioned it.
While the ladies drive beat up cars with missing hubcaps/rims.
I'm not sure how they afford the other stuff (I'd guess the show pays for some of it) but I do think they addressed the Lexus thing on an episode last season. I believe it is quite old and they got a good deal on it when things were better for the family.
and all the women (including most of the daughters) have acrylic nails, which would add up for the upkeep. one of them didn't when they zoomed in on her hands with the ring but I couldn't keep on eye on who. why it mattered to me i don't know.

Polygamy aside, isn't the FLDS religion based on the same doctrine? Yes, the mainstream LDS church outlawed polygamy, but that aside, I was under the impression that the other teachings were pretty much the same. :shrugs:
To some extent yes, but the fundamentalist mormons are a lot more conservative in their views. I agree with kaleyandjason that the Brown family just wants to claim to be mormon just so they can be polygamists.
FYI Vegas has a huge mormon population. I think more than half my high school was mormon. Vegas is not just full of awful skanky sinners.
I think this family needs to get their sh!t together budget wise. Don't complain on tv that you have no money, then go spend a ton on furniture, have a baby, parties, etc.
