Where do you buy appliances?
You all know I need a new stove. I've been researching them to death. I got an email about a home depot sale. Went there to check them out and was disappointed in the in store selection. Also the sales clerk was trying to talk me out of basic things (in my eyes) like 5 burners and convection, saying they are a waste and not needed.
I need to suck it up and get to Sears this week and just order my damn stove. Please share your fav places to look and mainly touch appliances.
Thanks.

Decorate This
Since March 2010, we've bought a washer, dryer, refrigerator and stove from Sears. We've never had any problems with the delivery or the installation. In fact, we originally bought the washer and dryer from Best Buy. We waited 3 weeks to get them in and then they could only deliver at 6:00PM on a Saturday.Normally, not a big deal, but we had bought tickets for a concert several months prior. They refused to give us a different time and said we'd have to wait another week or two since they don't do Sunday delivery. We returned them and ended up buying at Sears. We bought them Friday night and they were delivered that Sunday.
Sears also had the best deal.
After the whole BB incident, DH and I refuse to buy anything from there that we cannot carry out ourselves.
I'm going to go to Sear's this week and see what they can do for me. I might have to make the trip to the sears outlet too, wonder how much that might save me. I'm super cheap when it comes to some purchases.
we plan to pay cash so credit card incentives don't wow me.
We got some incentive card from Lowe's where we opened up an credit card account, then got $500 worth of GC for opening the account. We just paid off the account immediately and still got the GC.
now that would wow me. sears is offering 5% off, that's only a 40 dollar savings. that is not worth it to me to open a credit card.
