Intro - anyone near Camden / Belfast
Hi, all.
I used to be a Nestie before I became a devoted Bumpie, and it occurred to me that I should be hanging out over here more. We are moving from Boothbay Harbor up to the Camden/Belfast area next week, so I'd particularly love to get in touch with anyone who might be in that general area. We have a 7 month old son, and we're going nuts trying to find good child care (nanny or small daycare).
Anyway, hi! Looking forward to checking in here more regularly.

The only ones I can think of are the local YMCA (Rockport) and the hosptial has a child care center (you don't have to work there) and then there is Little Learners in Rockport as well (I have friends who use this one and LOVE LOVE LOVE it)

So sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up while I was home this summer, but as I'm sure you well remember, those first couple of weeks of babydom are crazy! That's really exciting that you're moving up to the Rockland area- I used to work in Camden and loved it. How your little guy doing???

Ours is doing really well - crawling and generally being crazy. Enjoy yours while he's little and snuggly!
Thank you! I didn't know about the Pen Bay center. I have friends that use Little Learners as well, but Rockport is a bit out of our way. I guess we're going to go with a nanny until he's 13 months or so, and then we'll have a bunch of preschool/montessori options.
