Our weekend was great..we went to the Quad Cities on the border of Iowa/Illinois and hung out in the district all weekend. ... I totally went to my first strip club too.
Justin's friend from Florida was up for a wedding so we hung out with him yesterday and I passed out early last night from one busy weekend!
Love me some Tom and Wes action on a Sunday afternoon! Though I could slap the defense (98 yards on two plays?! wtf!) upside the head. Looking forward to next Sunday and the J-E-T-S!
In other news... weekend was good... Date night saturday was fun - tho food was medium. sunday was nice and relaxing.

Well, it's mixed weekend at our house. The Rams were horrible and lost to the freakin Redskins. However, the Packers KILLED the Broncos. That game was awesome.
Annnndddd....THE CARDS WON!!! CARDS WON!!!! Cards beat the Phillies!!! Wooo Hoooooo!!!!!!!
Happy Monday girls!! After a 4 day weekend it was very hard to get up today!
Our weekend was great! Friday night we hung out at home, I was all set to relax and watch the Yankee game but it got rained out. Saturday, we went to an Autism Walk with my entire family (my 7 year old cousin is autistic and we have a huge team). Sunday, we went to brunch, bought some mums for the yard, and cleaned the house, watched sports and made chili. It was a nice cold day for the first chili of the season
Oh and I don't watch football, but my Yankees lost yesterday and now the series is tied at 1-1. I hope it rains less in Detroit for heaven's sake. Cindy, you KNOW I was thinking of you during the game HAHA!!

Well, Cin, the Lions did it again!!! I seriously think that I might have a heart attack if they do this again. We play the Bears next Monday night, and I am REALLY hoping we can pull out a win against them this year after the two calls that pretty much won the games for them last year (the Calvin Johnson catch and then the Suh penalty on something that is legal in two hand touch football!).
Suh got another roughing the passer yesterday that was so uncalled for it was ridiculous! I was livid! His hand touched, yes only TOUCHED, the face mask of Romo when he was getting hit right after he threw it, and it was 15 yards and gave them a first down when we had stopped them on the third down without that penalty. It was incidental, he didn't grab, his head was down so he couldn't even see it, it was a straight forward push so there was no strain on the neck or anything and all of the force was on his other hand the pushed the body...they are getting PATHETIC in a lot of these calls lately!
Oh, and the Huskers were absolutely HORRIBLE this weekend! I can't stand Martinez, never have even when he is playing his best because he has a major attitude problem...and they kept having him throw the frickin' ball! Just run it, run it, run it...we were actually successful when we did it, but went away from it.
My weekend was great! It was relaxing and fun!
Friday night we went to BIL's for a party. Saturday am we went to the Farmer's Market for their annual Harvest Breakfast and ate some yummy food, saw the most adorable Alpacas (I want one!!) and did some shopping. Saturday pm we stayed in and watchted Bridesmaids...so funny! Sunday I went to my parents, went grocery shopping and lounged around the house.

Well the Eagles game was a disappointment, fortunately I was too busy to sit and watch.
And just for the record, the Phils lost by one run only, and the Cards had to use every bullpen pitcher except one. And we trashed them Saturday :-)

April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Yeah for awhile I was thinking that the ref's had money on Dallas for yesterday's game....but just like last week against the Vikes, we did it again!!! Nothing like a rally for a comeback!!! It's like Lions role reversal from previous seasons - we play great in the first half and choke in the 2nd for a blowout. Now we've been playing like crap in the first and coming back in the 2nd. I hope we can pull off a win agains the Bears on Monday (sorry Barb, LOL!). Mike is all excited to watch it in the NDN's garage since he's got the day off Tuesday but the poor man next door actually has to work the next day, and at 4:00 am to boot!! But he still insists we come over for the game. My non-vacay taking azz will be going home after the first half and watching it in bed!!!
It was a good sports weekend in Detroit. Michigan, State, Lions, CMU, Tigers on sunday (after a blowout on Saturday)...in fact my co worker said all 7 of the division 1 college teams won this weekend. I fell asleep watching the Red Wings so not sure if they won but it was preseason anyhow.
My Saints won and the Steelers lost. But if you can keep a secret from my family, to be completely honest, I'm really not a Steelers fan at all. I only root for them in front of my family. I've been putting up a good front these last few years, haven't I??
OMG this is gonna be a close series, I think! And yes I am SICK of the rain here almost every effin' DAY!!! Mike is too becuz he's sick of mowing the lawn twice a week and at my mom's house as well. LOL
