Just Married-moving to Viceza, Italy???
Hi everyone!
My husband and I just got married last month and he got a government job offer in Vicenza, Italy (although he says nothing is final until we have a start date)! I've read some of the posts here and thought this would be a good place to ask advice...
Any tips/tricks about moving there? What about work? I heard there are restrictions to where I can work. Here at home I do museum education/archaeology and the (super random) teach ice-skating. Thank you all for providing good reading material before we got married and after!

There are quite a few museums in the area as well as tours. You could look into being a tour guide for Americans and other English speaking tourists. There is also a base there. You could look at getting a job on post.
Good luck and have a blast. Several members of my old unit spent nearly a month there last year. They said it was amazing.
