Your nephew is getting far to big...

Lucas is growing like a weed, I just had to pop on and update you all! At his 9 month appointment he was 22lbs 4oz (75thish percentile) and 29 5/8 inches (90thish percentile). He is definitely getting tall and thinning out.

He is now 10 months old and walking all over the place (took his first steps on his 9 month birthday). He really took off this past week and seems to prefer walking. It is adorable...and crazy at the same time...to have him walk across the room to me. I love it!

His newest thing he figured out how to do yesterday is climb up on the couch. We have gates up so he stays in the living room for the most part where his toys are, but would be able to get around them from on the couch. We are going to have to adjust our arrangement that is for sure.

He also has tooth #8 that just popped through. So we no longer have a jack-o-lantern with fangs, he has all 8 front teeth.

He is very vocal, but prefers growls and roars to words so far though. haha He will say Dada and sometimes he seems to be saying Momma or a few other words, but nothing constant. He loves peek-a-boo and will "roar" at you when you pop out. Then laugh his little head off.

Overall he is doing wonderfully and is a very happy, healthy little boy. Unfortunately I don't have a picture to post because facebook was being stupid this weekend and I gave up. So...look there for some new ones soon!
