Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I don't normally do this, but we could use some prayers or good vibes. My father-in-law is visiting the US from Africa (currently he's in New York). He was supposed to head to Nebraska to stay with us for a few weeks, however, Friday evening we got a phone call from DH's brother that lives in New York. FIL is in the ICU at the hospital. At first we were told he fell and hit his head. Then more details came out. He has full blown Malaria. He is currently under-going blood transfusions, is delirious from fever and was fighting the medical staff to the point where he had to be restrained. He is also diabetic and dealing complications with that as well. Right now all we can hope for is that they caught it in time and it doesn't continue into his brain. As far as we know it's only in his bloodstream and isn't airborne contagious. If you have room in your prayers, please send one out for us. Thank you.
