The best part of my day - coming home to a relatively clean house with dinner all ready to go in the crock pot (pot roast!)
The worst part - ummm...trying to get the elevator that broke down backstage on Saturday (the biggest night of our year) fixed. It should've been taken care of today; now I'll be lucky if it's Thursday. The artists are PISSED

Best part of my day: laying on the couch all night with Pepper. I'm so tired. I also ate a plate of mashed potatoes with cheese for dinner. that was it.
Worst part of my day: I took pepper to the vet to have some shots, and to get a rash checked out. Turns out she has mites. Totally treatable, and we can't catch it, but the poor girl doesn't have a full immune system yet so she got it :-/

But mashed potatoes with cheese sounds DELICIOUS! I think I need seconds of my dinner, haha!

that sounds awesome. mmmm. I'm planning on making crock pot stew later this week!
mmmm it was really good. although, now i'm hungry again...but it's too late.
I think it's going really well! It's super hard to get a handle on all the different things (and people!) I'm responsible for, but I think I'm slowly getting there. My hours are really long for this first year as I get adjusted to everything, so I am SUPER tired...but overall I think it's ok! I love the people I work with, so that makes a huge difference.

it's going really well. I teach at two schools, and I go back and forth each day (one day at one school, the next day i'm at another)...so that's really a pain. it's hard to leave school on Thursday, and maake sure everything is all set for Monday. The down side is that all of the "regular" teachers have no idea what I do. They think I'm a tutor...and send their students with quizzes to do corrections on. I'm sorry, but I'm teaching them the 6 times tables instead. Thanks.
it's amazing how low level some of these kids are. I gave them a picture of different coins, and aske them how much money was there, and about 50% answered wrong. I'm hoping they just added incorrectly.
The kids are really great though. I didn't think I could love my job more..but now I do.

Hello!
best part: dinner at the Kilcunda Pub with DH. I have been wanting to at the Kilcunda Pub since I first visited the area in 2008. Finally made it; and was not disappointed -- pasta with smoked salmon, baby spinach and peas in an herbed creme fraiche sauce with garlic bread, and a strawberry pavlova for dessert.
worst part: tie between beings handed 5 years of time to enter for a bill that needs to be out by Friday; or being torn a new one by the aviation maintenance representative at the Civil Aviation Authority for asking for clarification of some regulations.
