POLL: Names that are hard to pronounce
In honor of Cassidy's seemingly dreadful weekend, let's help her come up with some hard-to-pronounce names that she can tease her MIL with.
Cass, you gotta keep a totally straight face when discussing these with said MIL.
Re: POLL: Names that are hard to pronounce
Aisling (pronounced Ash-leen)
Isla (pronounced Eye-la)
Dude, DH thinks this is hilarious.
And then proceeded to tell me I'm mean, but whatev. He knows she is crazy with this sh!t.
Did you make that up?
Paille- A friend from high school named their daughter that. They say it's pronounced like Kayleigh.
What?!?
My B&SIL named their daughter Jocelyn. My Step MIL had the hardest time saying that. For the longest time she said a Josh-a-lynn.
DH's Aunt is Jackie, but it's spelled Jacie (which looks like it should sound like "Jay-see".)
Ooh, or "Amy" but insist everyone pronounce it "Ah-mee".
Someone I know IRL (well, actually I know her from my local board way back during planning), just had a son and named him Eames. I'm still not sure how to pronounce it.
You could throw my husband's name out.
Daugenet (Dah-jah-neigh)
I was thinking this!!
Cut the Crap - Weight loss journey of a Few Fat Chicks
Sadly, no.
dying. LOL.
Anything Gaelic is usually a good tongue-twister.
Aoife (ee+fa, kind of like "eva")
Caoilainn (Kay + lin)
I was going to say this one!
