Since I haven't done s#!t lately
I did this...
This month's embroidery club challenge is orange
. Usually it is way more specific. Anyone have any other ideas for "orange"?

You embroidered a roll of toilet paper???
I love orange and given the season, pumpkins/gourds, mums or other flowers, leaves, and the like seem like good options.
I did!

I am perplexed by this. Why? How?
It's really cute, though, and definitely fits the theme.
LOL, you summed up my sentiments pretty nicely
The better question would be, "Why not?"
Actually, I had heard of it but never felt the need to try it, although I think it is kind of cool. When this theme came up ("ORANGE"), I racked my brain for 3 weeks trying to come up with something. Ok, maybe orange is easy but, what to make orange wasn't so easy for me. I just wasn't getting any inspiration. So I figured I'd follow the Halloween theme and do pumpkins but I still couldn't decide what to put them on (I am so tired of towels, napkins, etc). The other night, it hit me! TP.
The most fun about these challenges is the project itself. The point of TP is nothing more than display. You can set it on a shelf in the powder room and it becomes a unique holiday display. I plan on making one for my husband's secretary, that says, "This is my Christmas bonus!" or "This is all I got for Christmas" (with some design added) and putting it in a basket of soaps, lotions, etc. (I'll probably add a "pretty" one, too.)
Now, the "how?"...you unroll a few feet and double it under itself, lay it on top of stabilizer on the bottom hoop, cover it with solvy (water soluble), top with the inner hoop and go to town.
Obviously, I need some inspiration!

Oh I would LOVE to have embroidered TP to secretly put in the bathroom just for DH's reaction.
Hilarious!!!
