My boss is off in Ottawa today, so I may not be the most productive. Mostly, I'm excited for the iPhone announcements today. I've got the Engadget liveblog post loaded up already, even though the event it's for a several hours.
On the news this morning they showed the Premier's visit to our plant yesterday. It was sort of funny to see the Engineering Director and the rest of the bosses on TV. And kaesha? Sorry, but I didn't get a chance to ask him about a new lighting board for your class. :P

It's picture day at school today, which means my classes are all over the place and there are going to be a ton of interruptions. As usual, I'm dreading dealing with my grade 7 math class today, but I'm hoping they get pulled out for pictures during my period.

Good Morning!
I am really aggravated with myself today. I have gained 5 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. I have been starving all day long and Its like I can't get enough to eat. I am kicking myself in gear and going to work out tonight. I went for a nice walk yesterday while Jordan was at soccere practice.
As for work it will be another slow day. So I guess I will spend my day on pinterest.
Trying to stay warm in my office. I hate that it's already getting cold outside and they still have the AC on. In better news, it's supposed to warm up and be gorgeous this weekend. The downside is that DH will be in Montreal for the weekend for a bachelor party.
This afternoon I go back to the renal specialists to see how my kidneys and liver are functioning. Last time the numbers were still bad, so I'm hoping things have changed. I don't want to be on even more medication. I always seem to have nasty side effects.

It's gonna be a crappy day, I have to deal with my senior design partner who is not cooperating very much lately.
On the other hand, wish me luck ladies, I have been spending a lot of time job hunting so I'm hoping to get some phone calls for some interviews soon. I'm a little nervous about this because I feel like I don't have much field experience yet but I'm trying to stay positive and hope that my intership with TxDOT will help me land a job.

V got his offer letter yesterday and his start date will be Oct 17, so we're trying to think of fun ways to enjoy these last 2 weeks with him SAH. We thought of doing a road trip to the US but Darian doesn't have a passport yet. Doh!

The HR gal and I finally connected yesterday after 2 days of phone tag due to the time difference. We had a nice chat and she said my resume would be forwarded on to the local hiring manager.
In the meantime - yesterday I negotiated extra leave for next year. I will continue to get my 2 weeks paid, but I will also get 2 weeks unpaid as long as I don't take them at the same time! I see lots of traveling in my future for next year.

I feel so refreshed from yesterday. I finally got to go running again. I hurt my ankle and it finally felt better. So I tested it out. I'm pleased to say I can still run and not sound like a wounded buffalo half way through.
Today I'm going for a run again and this time at the park. Dh wants to fly a new plane I bought him. It's his relaxing hobby. He just chills and flies.
I also have a great leftover pork roast I made yesterday and roasted root vegetables so I don't have to cook dinner either. Yippee!
Ringy you guys should take a road trip to somewhere in Canada that you've never been. It sounds like a great idea to get away for a bit.
Morning! Last night was pretty uneventful. DH had his softball game, and we got Chinese takeout afterwards. I brought in my leftovers for lunch, and my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Speaking of mouth watering, I am making apricot maple glazed pork chops and mashed potatoes tonight for dinner...can't wait!
Ringy - Emmett and I traveled to Canada when he was 3 months old and they accepted his birth certificate (his passport was delivered the day after we left). I was worried we might be stuck in Canada, but it worked both ways.
Today was a pretty decent day.
Woke up at 5am and went for a 5 mile run. I'm having problems, however, in that running has almost every single time results in runners trots and sometimes I almost don't make it home. It really sucks.
Work was okay because I had a second pharmacist at the smaller hospital today since I was training him to start going out there on rotation with me. Also, my boss is meeting with a VP of the hospital to try and get more funding so I can have a second pharmacist on a semi-regular basis. That would be awesome and help my stress level.
Tonight we will watch our DVR of HIMYM and have english muffin pizzas for dinner. Hopefully to bed early again so I can be up at 5am to run.
Hi lovelies! Just watching the Phillies game here and then I need to head out and try to sort out my cell phone situation. I feel like a caveman not being able to get in touch with anyone.
I think I'm getting closer to being adjusted to the time change, and just as I do that it will be time to head to the east coast. I will never sleep normally again.
Now jumping domestically.
