Things That Annoy Me (Friday Edition)
-USPS contracting with Fed Ex and UPS to deliver packages. #1 it is untraceable once it hits the USPS office, which annoys me on its own, but #2 somehow this makes package delivery even more tediously slow.
-Ebay requiring the funds from a buyer to sit in the seller's paypal account for 18 days without actually crediting the account- wtf?!
Anyone else have anything?

Re: Things That Annoy Me (Friday Edition)
Josh is a picky eater. I made broccoli and corn chowder last night and he said he was "afraid" to try it. (Even though he likes broccoli).
He eats things like sushi, mussels, clams, etc, but will not eat "normal" things like squash, asparagus, peas, green beans. And FORGET anything with pumpkin in it.
It makes cooking challenging sometimes!
:sigh:

ahh yes, picky husbands, quite the challenge!

- No one asked me if I wanted any Starbucks when the whole newsroom staff just went.
- our neighbors are moving out and they keep parking their cars in front of our house/driveway/on the border between our yards.
- Because of the gaping hole in my gums right now, I can't close my mouth all the way, which is drying out my lips and making me look like a fricking mouthbreather.
Oh yes. I have one of these too. Quite annoying.
People who complain about having to stay at work the entire time they're technically supposed to be there. Yes, some people may get to leave earlier; that is a bonus for them not a right you're being denied. We got sh*t to do yo!
Also, people who look at you like you have a swastika on your forehead when you ask them to come into court around the holidays...we'll be here working, it's nice that you have the option not to.
Clearly, people at my job are things that annoy me this Friday.
Sprint and Target - we just ordered new phones through Target since they had a great deal on the one we wanted, and even paid $40 for overnight shipping. Only to get them today with a note saying we can't even turn them on until activation is complete, which will be Tuesday at the earliest and as late as the 9th. WTF is that.
WA health insurance - I admit, I'm trying to plan ahead, and my current insurance doesn't cover maternity care, so I used the health care reform act's website to check out options. Not only does every plan have ridiculous co-insurance costs, but my search went from over 100 to 11 when I clicked for maternity care, and then of that 11, 4 of them ended up not actually offering maternity care.

I know it's Tuesday by now, but I'm adding to this thread. I've been off for like 5 days. First day back, I'm here at the freaking asss crack of dawn for an intake. We scheduled at this time because she has an impossible work schedule and this was pretty much the only time she'd be able to do it. And now she's no-showed.
Go glad I'm here at 8am for this. My next client isn't til 11. Awesome.
