watching right now.... just watching the group of girls perform; I think their group is called Delilah. They did Adam Lambert's "What do you want from me". It was crazy amazing!

So, um...what's with the white girl in Afro-Blue?
Come on, you know you were all thinking it...
LOL... yes, yes, I was!

I know that Howard is traditionally African American, but are Caucasians not allowed in? I am just curious--I really don't know.
Scholarships...minorities at a college usually get scholarships. A friends daughter was awarded several b/c she attended a predominately African American college. Remember the one white girl on "A Different World?"
Afro-Blue is my favorite. Both songs they did were fantastic! I also like Urban Method, but I didn't like the Black Eyed Peas song they did. The Sly and The Family Stone song was totally groovy though.
I loved Delilah the first week, and I also like the first song they did (though I thought it was a bit screechy during the climax, crescendo, whatever the term is). But Heat Wave was the worst performance of the show so far. It wasn't interesting and it was kind of a safe choice for them. They should have picked something more interesting and fun.
I'm not a huge fan of any of the college boy groups. They are all interchangeable to me. White boys, ties, over the top hand gestures and performances. They're entertaining and pretty good, but not really musically spectacular. I did like the Frank Sinatra song though, whichever group that was.
now i do!! so...who in afro-blue is the whitley?
