What would be the hardest thing for you to give up spending money on for a month? For H and me, it would be eating out/going out for drinks with friends. Hands down, no question.
Re: s/o spending freeze
It's probably a toss up between this and the mid week unscheduled trips to the grocery store. We'll go and drop $100 on Sunday, but then Wednesday DH wants a different beer, or I'm bored with our options and cook a random different dinner etc...
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?

Completely this for me too. It doesn't matter how much time/thought I put into the grocery list for the weekend trip, I ALWAYS forget something. This means at least one mid-week trip to the store, resulting in buying more than just the one thing we need. Also - booze. We really don't drink during the week, but it's pretty ridiculous how fast we go through the booze on the weekends. I think we need to start measuring how much we put in our glasses!
