Recommend your NoVA Cleaning Company/Person

I live in North Springfield and am looking for a one time cleaning (to begin with, may go to more later).  I called Merry Maids and they quoted me $238!  I have a small 3 bedroom / 2 ba house (and they would only be cleaning 2 bedrooms).

I then called Jessy Cleaning Service and they quoted me $100 for the same cleaning, but some of their yelp reviews were not great.

Any recommendations and thoughts re: price.  I was thinking $120....

  • Try Maid Brigaide, they charged $130 for 1100 sq feet once a month. They did a fantastic job on the move out cleaning.

  • My cleaning lady is awesome.

I'll PM you.  I'm also in North Springfield and she already does at least three houses in this neighborhood on the regular.  I think for a one time cleaning she'd take $120.

Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
  • I'll second Artslvrs recommendation, she's wonderful.
  • i use Artslvr's cleaning lady, too, and i adore her. definitely give her a call!

  • Do you know if she is bonded/insured?  My DH is sticking to his guns on this point....
  • I've never asked, but I will tell you this story.  Our range top sometimes clicks, like the little starter is going even when no one is there.  It seems to happen randomly.  It happened once while they were there and one of the ladies stayed behind till they reached me to make sure my house wouldn't catch on fire.  (Like any noise that happens on occasion, the Maytag man can't repair it because it never happens when he is there, grr..., although unplugging and replugging the range in makes is go away).
