Any resources available to tell if a neighborhood is "good" in MD
Looking at a house in the Brookeville area code (pretty close to Olney border) and just trying to get a feel for if it's a neighborhood that is considered good/nice. Schools are excellent which is a big factor for us.
Thanks.

There are very few parts of Olney and even fewer (if any) of Brookeville that I would consider anything but good.
Are you working with a good realtor that knows the area? I know they can't legally tell you if an area is "good" or not, but they should be able to give you tools (like crimereports.com) to help you evaluate it for yourself. Especially because "good" is entirely subjective.

Ditto this. I lived in Olney, and now just outside of the town, and it is hard to find an area that would be considered 'bad'. The local Olney/Brookville Exchange listserve is pretty active with discussion on area issues- it is a Yahoo group you can search for. You would have to request to be added, but they are pretty liberal and saying you are moving to the area should be sufficient.
