I really get excited about the random halloween candy from my childhood. Like bottle caps.
of course, i also love mini-twixes & such, but i can buy a twix bar any day of the week.
i''m really excited for halloween this year. we got sprout's costume in the mail yesterday (garden gnome) and he looks so cute in it! I hope he'll keep the hat on. we're just going to go to a few houses on our block, but i think he'll love it and i *know* our elderly neighbors will!
i love bottle caps! and wacky wafers! not sure i ever got them at halloween though.
as far as more mainstream candy, i have to go with whatchimicalit and twix. or 100 grand. i remember being psyched for those in my trick-or-treat bag!
anything Reese's! I could eat a whole bag of those mini Reese's cups...

Candy corn. I could eat a whole bag of that stuff in one sitting, which is why I never let myself buy it anymore.
But I really do love Baby Ruths. I believe they are the ultimate candy bar (caramel, peanuts, chocolate, nougat--what's not to love?).

chocolate laffy taffy does not sound good. I feel like the taffy needs to be some sort of super sweet faux fruit flavor :-)
