Re: Random
I'm here, need to eat breakfast and then head off to my cleaning job. Right about now I'm wishing I had never taken the 2nd cleaning job this fall, because I would much rather sleep in right now than make some extra money.
This afternoon I have to take John to the dentist, since I have the car today. Hopefully I'll get a nap in after that, and possibly some sewing or maybe I'll work on my Medical Transcription program again.

2 week fall break so I'm here!
I actually just defriended my preacher on FB because for the past week he's been putting nothing but political comics and LOLcat-type pictures on his statuses - which is annoying enough - but half of them are incredibly offensive towards other nationalities and religions. I am completely baffled because I have never known him to be a bigoted person before, and I've known him my whole life. It was almost like he'd been hacked, but then between these pictures are posts about his new grandson, with no mention of the pictures not being from him, so it's got to be his doing. I'm really let down by it all.
I'm here at work trying not to fall asleep. I think I'm still exhausted from this weekend. I just had a meeting with my boss and let her know I failed my 1 hr glucose test
and will have to miss half a day of work tomorrow to go and do my 3 hr. I know it's NBD and that most people fail the 1 hr and pass the 3 hr but I am really getting down on myself about it. E knows somethings wrong and has been extra supportive, so please send good vibes my way that I pass tomorrow!
On another note, my house looks like a baby has thrown up all over it. We have so much stuff, everywhere, its crazy!
I have a student that "manages" the student lounge, so he thinks he runs this place and it's making me stabby.
My boss decided to have Bingo night down in our student lounge and didn't "inform" him. It was all a last minute thing...no big deal. It pissed him off. To the point that he was swearing in my office.
Then someone accidently used "his sign" that goes out in the street and put bingo night on it.
You would have thought the world has ended around here.
Sounds crazy right? He's a 40 year old man AND married a 21 year old a month ago!

I've got a shitton of things to do around here, but Lance's 88 year old grandma (the ornery one) broke her arm yesterday morning when she fell and we went to see her. Of course at the same time she had a horrible cold and spread it to all of us, so now my poor boy is sniffly and I'm miserable and looking around at my house wondering when the hurricane was...
Liz: that is super weird for a pastor to be putting on facebook!! It's probably a good thing you defriended him.

Since this post is titled 'Random' I have a few random things to say....
1. I know I spend too much time on here... the other day there was a company van driving on the highway. It was called IRL Landscaping. I read it as In Real Life Landscaping. I just laughed to myself after I did it.
2. I find it so fun that after like 3 years we are all still here... sharing stories, asking advice, sending well wishes, making each other laugh. Sounds like a corny Hallmark card, but it is so true. Who would've thunk?
3. Damn you all for getting me hooked on Pinterest. Matt curses you too b/c I have come up with some crazy ideas and he has to do them all
4. Maggie's pediatrician told me yesterday that Maggie doesn't have a baby face anymore.. she has a little girl face. I have known that, but having her say it made me sad. I love her age now, but at the same time I miss the baby too!
5. Chocolate is just the most amazing invention ever.

I just spent 2 1/2 hours convincing people to give me the temp employees for a few days to make some headway on a big project. The kicker is they're not doing anything now. I don't know why it was such a big deal to give them something for a few days... we're paying them to just sit there!

I'm here on my lunch break. My randoms for the day are...
1. Work is HECTIC right now!
2. Some times people in my family don't think before they talk. Like how my dad told me he brought a dozen donuts into my work for me because "God knows I'd eat all of them." And he wonders why I have a warped self image. Grr.
3. The Colts defense needs a swift kick in their as$es. Except for Freeney, Mathis, and Angererrrrrrrr. They're great. The rest of them just suck. And make me stabby. And made me stay up pass my bed time to watch them blow another game. And don't even get me started on our O-Line.
4. People are just inconsiderate pr*cks sometimes. For example, if you think I'm going to feel sorry for you because you b&tch about pregnancy all the time-you're crazy. I'm not. And neither is anyone else. I'd do anything to feel like sh*t if it meant I had a healthy baby growing inside me. And I guarantee I'm not the only one who feels like that. There. I said it.
Err..my random turned into a total B&M. hahaha Sorry!
ETA: Laura-I hope you pass your glucose test dear! Clearly #4 had nothing to do with you. Yeah you probably know that but I thought I'd just clear the air.
