Amber Alert: 10 month old baby girl missing.

This just breaks my heart!

ETA: Sorry it's not clicky.

Also, I find it weird that anyone would sleep with their bedroom windows unlocked. Especially the baby's room! Let alone, any of the rooms!

    T&P for her family.

Also, Hmm to the window commentary. Not all homes have A/C and of those who do, not everyone can afford to run it all the time.

My parents don't even lock their doors at night. Telling them they should lock the windows would be like telling them Santa Claus really did come to visit last Christmas.

    Same. That's terrible.

I grew up with the windows wide open all throughout the summer months..a lot of New England homes don't have central air. I don't think it's bizarre at all to leave windows unlocked. What a sad world we are living in when we have to be locked up tight in our own homes.

Its very sad thoughts and prayers for the family.

As to the window commentary. I grew up leaving the slider that lead to our porch open and all the windows during the summer. E's family, up until FIL replaced the door last year did not even know where the key to the front door of their house was. Never even lock it.

As for us we leave the upstairs windows open at night but not the downstairs. I've done it a few times and nothing happens but I would just rather not.
