10 Things Tuesday!
1. I figure Ritzy is probably too busy to start this post today, so I decided to jump on it instead!
2. I had a dentist appt this morning and I have "perfect teeth"!
3. I scheduled an appt for DH in November, because he hasn't been to the dentist in a while and he always forgets to get himself an appointment.
4. I did this with him for a doctors appointment too the other day.
5. I bought two pumpkins yesterday!
6. They are sitting on our front porch right now, but I'm excited to carve them!
7. I love making roasted pumpkin seeds with the seeds from our pumpkins!!!
8. I am debating changing my schedule at my other office tomorrow to accommodate the ice cream social that they are having in my normal office in the afternoon.
9. I wish it was Friday already!
10. I am really enjoying the nice weather that we're having this week!
Re: 10 Things Tuesday!
1. I have been extremely motivated with making freezer meals and so far I have - 2 noodle casseroles, 2 rice casseroles, 2 pasta dishes, chicken cacciatore, 28 stuffed shells, and 16 twice baked potatoes.
2. Meals on tonights agenda include: chicken noodle soup and chicken chili
3. I walk the dog ever morning before work, but Tuesdays are my favorite day because it's trash day and I can toss his poop in a trash can rather than carrying it the entire walk.
4. DH has been whining since Friday about everything under the sun -- stomach aches, headaches, tired, etc. Yet, he won't take anything and I have to practically give him medicine. I am sick of it.
5. Last week we started letting my dog have free reign of the house while we are at work (rather than locking him up in a bedroom). So far, he has not destroyed anything. But I still don't fully trust him.
6. I am headed to Kohl's at lunch to spend my Kohl's cash. I don't need anything, but I'm sure I will find something to spend it on.
7. I am reading in a wedding on Saturday. I was originally asked to be a bridesmaid, but I turned it down so we didn't have to worry about ordering a huge dress and me possibly not making it. All is well and I totally could have been a bridesmaid, but I am still glad I am not.
8. I ordered a massive order from Target.com last week cause I had a 20% off coupon. This order is coming in 7 different shipments. So far, I have received 2. I think the UPS man hates us.
9. I was 15 minutes late to work today, and then I still spent the first 15 minutes I was here catching up on my Words With Friends games.
10. I am slowly transitioning my work to other people for my upcoming maternity leave. I have less and less responsibility and I love it.
1. Went to the cider mill on Sunday. There was a line out the front door to get in. We went in the side door and stepped right up to get some hot donuts. In and out in less than 10 minutes.
2. We are looking for a treadmill, but can't decide what kind to buy.
3. I am really over the vaguebooking some people do. Quit being so dramatic.
4. I am also over the people who respond to it. "What's wrong?" "Are you ok?" and so on. Quit feeding the drama.
5. My stomach keeps growling.
6. I wore my new boots this weekend and got two compliments.
7. One compliment was from my baby brother. That made me feel even cooler since I'm the oldest & not always the hippest.
8. It's taking me too long to type this because people keep calling me & interrupting me with work. I'm trying to nest darn it.
9. I can't wait for my vacation later this month.
10. I wanted to use a smiley on each thing for some random reason.

1. I am very sleepy today.
2. As a result, I forgot to put on deodorant. Oops!
3. It's lunchtime and I have leftover butternut squash bisque - omgsogood!
4. I got to go out to lunch with my dad yesterday! I hardly ever get to visit with just him. It was really nice.
5. Before I went out with my dad yesterday, I got to go visit my 1 week old cousin. I held her for 2 hours. It was wonderful!
6. DH and I are starting to toss around the idea of TTC...
7. 19 days until our anniversary
8. I don't think we are goign anywhere for our anniversary. We're doing a "stay-cation". Bumming around A2, maybe going to the Toledo Zoo, and going out for a super-fancy dinner.
9. Speaking of dinner, I'm having leftover steak stuffed w/ asiago cheese and spinach - YUM!
10. I wish it was dinner time because after dinner time is bedtime, and I'm super tired.
1. I'm loving the weather this week!
2. I can't wait for Homecoming at WMU this weekend.
3. My girlfriend is coming w/us, so that will be fun, she needs a fun weekend w/some stuff she's going through right now.
4. I hope I stay awake tonight, stayed up to watch the Tigers last night, and tonight's another late night.
5. If I do stay up, I need a drink to watch the game if Valverde comes in.
6. I swear it took me over 30 min. Sun. to calm down after the 9th inning.
7. When Jeter was up last night, I couldn't just sit & watch, so I Windexed the entertainment center class, a mirror & our patio windows.
8. Yep, I'm excited about the Tigers if you can't tell.
9. Need to make some food for a bake sale next week, thinking of what to make that everyone else won't be making.
10. Will try to make mostly pumpkin items, since I bought pumpkin to make stuff. Though I have 3 pumpkin breads staring at me. I should probably freeze them so I don't open one up & eat half of it!
1. I just got done eating lunch.
2. I hung up orange Halloween lights on my front porch Sunday, along with spider webs. I think it looks good.
3. I like decorating for Halloween, even though we only got three trick-or-treaters last year.
4. Im loving the cooler weather and kind of bummed its supposed to worm up this weekend.
5. DH and I gave our kitchen a goot cleaning on Sunday, the first time in a while
6. Im really hoping I get around to organizing my craft room this weekend. Im keeping my fingers crossed that I find the motivation.
7. My birthday is next month. I have to start figuring out what I want.
8. I finally finished a baby blanket I was crocheting. I LOVE it and dont want to give it away.
9. I tried updating my blog over the weekend with the blanket I finish, but ths stupid thing kept timing out when I was trying to upload pictures.
10. Im not being very productive at work despite having a lot to get done today.
I HATE when I do that! I'm so self-conscious the rest of the day.

1. Like jhobel, I also placed a HUGE order from Target.com to use the coupon they sent and it?s coming in like 5 different shipments. I don?t know why, all the stuff was in stock when I ordered it.
2. I am very happy for JenniC ? Ryan is beautiful and it sounds like everything went smoothly but she was four days behind me. And Ryan was born on Saturday. And she didn?t mention it in advance ? like say that things were feeling different on Friday. And this has TOTALLY light a fire under my butt to get things done.
3. I am a procrastinator so I suppose a fire isn?t all that bad for me.
4. I?m taking Thursday off work to get more things marked off my to-do list because I feel that the weekend is too far away. (I realize it?s only two days after Thursday but still?Thursday makes me feel better.)
5. Do I sound a little crazy in this thread?
6. I think about JenniC and Ritzy often ? hope they?re doing well and things are going as smoothly as can be expected with a new born!

8. I have a doctor appointment today and am planning on getting the flu shot. This will be my first flu shot as an adult.
9. Some girls at work just stopped by my desk to give me a baby present. It was SO nice and unexpected.
People really are generous ? I found this with our wedding and am finding it again!Oh that last inning on Sunday was a trainwreck... My H kept slamming his fist into the couch, now DD does it.....

Ooooo! I really like those! I would love to get some flat boots, but I wear heels mostly. I figured I should spend the money on something I would wear more often. Here what I got:

1. I have been MIA! Things are reeaaaaallly crazy busy right now.
2. I am looking forward to relaxing in t-minus 3.5 days.
3. I have a bunch of crap.....err, I mean "treasures".....for sale on Craigslist right now, and it's annoying to deal with. I want it all g.o.n.e.
4. I have also been offering stuff up for free on FB (decent stuff that I'm having a hard time donating but would love to see go to a good home), and have been surprised that no one has taken me up on it (except for one item). Maybe I will freecycle it all.
5. I got a pair of Birkenstocks for DH (he literally did not own a single pair of sandals), and I admit that I'm a little jealous.
6. We are having dinner on a yacht tonight and I have no idea what to expect, but I'm excited!
7. I have not begun packing yet. Must get on that asap.
8. I ordered a big sun hat, and I am in love with it. I wish I had a reason to be wearing it right now. DH told me that the sole reason I bought it was to look cute in photos with it on (lol), and I readily admit that is about 70% of the reason (the other 30% being actual sun protection).
9. I also got a new bathing suit, and am having major body insecurities about wearing it.
10. I really can't believe it's October already. Seriously, where did the year go?!
I like those too! I'm already 5'7" so I don't usually wear heels... I definitely am more comfortable in flat boots!

1. I found a dress on Saturday. Yay!
2. I was shocked that I found it, because the appointment didn't start off very well.
3. Only FI's mom and sister came with me. It was nice and laid back.
4. I called and apologized to my mom for hurting her feelings. I was hoping that would be the end of it.
5. Apparently I was wrong about #4.
6. She later sent me an email telling me how upset she was about not being included in dress shopping.
7. I am completely confused.
8. Her email made me cry.
9. My dad called me today to tell me that he saw pictures of the dress and wanted to let me know that I looked beautiful.
10. My dad's telephone call made me cry.
TTT made me tear up.

No joke. Today has been such a whirlwind that I'm not even getting on the board until now at 12:40am, so it's technically Wednesday and I've missed "Ten Things Tuesday". I'm doing it anyway though because I refuse to accept that I've technically missed it.
1. These are probably all going to be BR because my current mind-set is definitely in the baby dept.
2. On one hand I can't believe that Lily is only five days old, and yet on the other I think "it's already been five days since she was born??"
3. Our hospital stay at St. Joe's was wonderful and I can't say enough good things about the nurses/staff there.
4. The "scrubs" that DH had to wear during my CS actually looked more like a one-piece biohazard suit. It was hilarious.
5. DH and my bro were messing around with some stuff in the room one night at the hospital, and ended up leaving the "Does not speak English" plaque up outside my door so that when my night nurse came on board she didn't think I spoke English. It was hilarious and embarrassing all at the same time.
6. I think Lily looks just like Emma did when she was born, except she's smaller (born 1.5lb lighter and 1.5 inches shorter than Emma) and has darker brown hair as opposed to Emma's which is more light brown.
7. My breasts have become so engorged over the last few days that while feeding Lily today, I looked down and actually thought "holy moly, my breast is actually larger than her HEAD."
8. Emma told my Mom the day after Lily was born that "my baby came'd out".
9. There were botanical prints hanging in the hallway of the mother-baby unit, and we just happened to notice that the one outside our room was a picture of a Lily, which was simply titled "Lily". I found that really cool.
10. Even though MIL didn't actually come to the hospital, there was still some drama involving her while I will most likely explain in a separate post.
