when did you ladies start tummy time? i got an email from baby center saying that newborns should spend time on their time but i feel like he still so little even though he tries to pull himself up on my chest!

Laying on his belly on your chest IS tummy time right now. He's so teeny tiny and new and the skin to skin contact is great for newborns

at newborn when they're laying on your chest, or daddys's chest that's considered tummy time, so you've probably started already!

Baby H laid on our chests until that nasty umbilical cord piece fell off. Then the real tummy time began for us. I didn't want to push it because it would bleed just from rubbing the wrong way on his undershirt. And don't expect him to love it, haha

we didn't start real tummy time until a couple weeks old. other than that tummy time was hanging out on my tummy.

Up until Kevin was about 2 months old the only form of tummy time we did was when he laid on my chest. Then we started tummy time and it took him about another month and half to actually like it. You are doing just fine
