1. Any plans this year? Disneyland the weekend before and I might try and squeeze in a trip the morning of Halloween too.
2. Are you dressing up? Probably not since I have to work If so, what are you going as? I have a pair of zebra ears headband and tail that I might take with me, just in case.
3. Are you carving a pumpkin? I always want to do this, but I get tired of scooping the innards out about half way through and my pumpkin always comes out wonky, so I'm just giving up.
4. What's your all time favorite candy? gummies!
5. Thoughts on haunted houses? Radio station haunted houses are not cool, but I love, love the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. That's the only haunted house I'll do. Love em, hate em or somewhere in between?#1-BFP 08-22-09 ~ M/C 08-31-09 at 5 weeks 6 days

too many...2 pumpkin carving parties, 2 all-out halloween parties. i love halloween, but i hate the parties associated with it.

i have the pregnant skeleton shirt that mudpuddle posted a while back. h has the matching fat man skeleton shirt (instead of a baby skeleton, it's burger, fries, and soda in his belly)

yes, at one of the pumpkin carving parties. don't know what we're going to carve yet.
4. What's your all time favorite candy?
not including chocolates...probably sour apple tape. but that's not really a halloween candy. halloween candy i like sour skittles, sixlets, or peanut m&m's.

i like the idea of them, but i can't stand them. they are too much for me.

I do have a hotel already. I'm not going to be down there for fun, it's for work, so I'm staying at the conference hotel there. I'm just squeezing in some Disney time while I'm down there. Thanks though!
1. Any plans this year? not yet - but I kind of hope so since we have missed a lot of Halloweens together (not that I care, it's not super important, just saying we haven't done anything for a while)
2. Are you dressing up? If so, what are you going as? I like dressing up but don't know what yet. H has wanted us to be tetris pieces, lol (in case you don't know, he's 1'3" taller)

Zomg, yes. Disneyland at Halloween is the best ever. The whole park is decked out, there's a costume party (that you have to pay to get in to) and the Haunted Mansion is decorated in Nightmare Before Christmas. It's so much fun. IMO it's the best time of year to go.

That's one of my favorite movies!
1. Any plans this year? No.
ALL I ever want is an awesome adult Halloween party to go to and I never have them. Back in the day, my sister and her best friend used to throw the best H-parties. They would spend a month beforehand creating decorations for that year's theme (ones I remember: Mad scientist, Hell, Funeral Home). I tried throwing one with a friend once and while it was ok, too many other people were party-hopping and all of them (from diverse circles, too) landed at ours first so despite all our efforts, it was empty by midnight.
2. Are you dressing up? If so, what are you going as? Since I spent so much money on my dirndl, it would probably either have to be as a Bavarian chick, or cobbled together from previous costume pieces. I did want to be a Day of the Dead sugar skull type skeleton.
3. Are you carving a pumpkin? Yes!! I have a party to go to and then since H will probably feel sad, we'll carve some at home.
4. What's your all time favorite candy? Reese's PB Cups.
5. Thoughts on haunted houses? Love em, hate em or somewhere in between? The only one that ever scared me was the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. It scared the &(*# out of me when I was 5. Tried again when I was 9 and still couldn't make it through ok.like being a self-inflating whoopie cushion?

We have one halloween party we've been invited to... i don't know other than that. We probably will give out candy for a little while.

They're fine, but i don't usually go b/c they are either too lame or too scary, and often feel pretty claustrophobic.

Unless you grew up outside the States, or your family is one of those "Halloween is the Devil's holiday!" types, how is this possible?!
my mom hated it because it's wasteful, lol. She always bought pumpkins to make pies with so we did always have homemade pie
But we did carve one when we had an exchange student!

i carved my first pumpkin at 19. my parents never mentioned it when i was a kid, and by the time i got older/teenager and learned about it, i was too cool for it. i love carving pumpkins now.

Not for actual Halloween day, but the weekend before there is a Husky game and a Seahawks game DH and I are attending. There is a Halloween party on Saturday I think we are going to as well.

I am going as a bride from My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. My dress will not be a huge as those dresses, but the general idea of tackiness will be present.
