Those who have bought a house recently...
Did you have the radon test done with your inspection?

love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
We bought a year and a half ago and we absolutely had a radon test done. Because of numbers just above "normal" we had a mitigation system put in by the sellers. Honestly, it's pretty cheap, I see no reason not to have it done. Our sellers had opted not to do one when they bought the house 5 years before selling-our realtor said they were kicing themselves for not doing it before they bought since they were footing the bill to get the house sold....
This.

We have neighbors around us that have the systems now, even though we tested within the normal range. I think it can vary from house to house because of how well or not the house is sealed up. When Hearthstone found out we were going to have the test done, they sealed the cover over our sump pump pit, because the radon seeps up from the ground.
