So we had Pinterest Camp this weekend...

I wrote about it and included links on my blog! SO much fun, I highly recommend it. It was nice to get away from kids/husbands/dogs and just have girl time.

  • Oh how fun! Such a good idea! I think I may have to organize something like this for all of the girls I have recently gotten addicted to pinterest!

  • That looks like such a great idea!  Especially including Pinterest food with the crafts.  I wish my house was bigger so I could host something like this.

  • How does that work? Did you all bring your own crafts to do? I'm not sure I get the premise of Pinterest Camp. lol.

  • Great idea. Think I'll add it to a rainy weekend this winter! Storm

  • Well, we had a group pinterest board that we all pinned ideas onto. Then we decided what we wanted to make (ended up that several of us wanted to make the same thing - pom pom wreath), and we each bought our own supplies.

We had it at one of our houses, everybody brought snacks, and the hostess made 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner. We ate out the rest of the time.

It worked out because we were all on a mission to get 2 projects finished (I did a pom pom wreath and a tulle wreath) and then also to just hang out and get to know each other. I knew everyone, but some of the girls had not met before. We are all going to Haven Conference next June so I wanted everyone to meet.

We're doing another one in 6 weeks and then one in the spring since it was such a success! The hardest part was finding a weekend when everyone could get away, since my friend's house is 3 hours away from all of us. It was like a mini-vacation.

  • This is such a cute idea!!
