Are you & DH and/or kids dressing up for Halloween?
DH & I don't dress up, but DD is going as Thomas the Train & DS is going as a giraffe. I bought both outfits at the consignment stores & paid $10 total!
I'm hoping this weather is what we'll have for trick-or-treating.

I am obsessed with 30 Rock and was thinking about going as Liz Lemon. DH looks kind of like the super dumb boyfriend who ends up with hooks for hands when he puts glasses on, so we could go together like that.
I also have an extensive renaissance costume collection that I love dressing up in (I frequent the Michigan Ren Fest), and that's always easy...
I kind of want to wear my wedding dress, just to wear it again, but I don't want it to get ruined.
My H wanted to go as the jolly green giant and have dd go as green sprout, which would be very cute, but I found a super cute hippo costume for dd instead.
I'm not the best idea person. I usually do something sports related being such a sports nut. One year I was a hockey player. I had my Toronto Maple Leafs jersey, took 2 plastic Meijer/Kroger bags & stuffed them w/other plastic bags & put them under my jersey to look like shoulder pads. I think put dark makeup all around my eye to make it seem like a black eye & then put black mascara all over 1 tooth to make it seem like I lost a tooth (yeah, the mascara idea wasn't the best, didn't taste too good), but I thought it was a cute idea.
I haven't dressed up for Halloween in years. In fact, the only real time I've dressed up as an adult was the year that I met DH and we were invited to a party. DH definitely won't be dressing up because that's not really his thing.
The kids will definitely be dressing up. I'm not 100% sure what they're going to be yet. I have a newborn monkey costume by Carters that I thought I'd put Lily in, so I'm sure she'll be that assuming it still fits by month's end. I have a few random costumes that Emma can choose from as well (fairy, dalmation, monkey). If Emma chooses to be a monkey as well, I thought it might be cute to dress Lily in all yellow and somehow make her into a banana.
Well I was planning on dressing James as a dragon since I had that costume...then MIL decided to buy him a tiger outfit without bothering to ask if I had any opinion on the matter. So I haven't decided what I want to do except be annoyed with MIL.
