Re: IN Get Fit Challenge!
I'm still down 13lbs. from my starting weight. It's been hard to be consistent with constant work trips and vacations here and there. My next trip is back home in a week, so I'd like to be down 2-3 pounds by then. We'll see!
QOTD: My main motivation is to a) look better and b) be healthier. DH is really focusing on the healthy bit, and I'm a bit vain, so I'm focused more on looking good. Sure, I want to be healthy, but I want to be hot too! As for stalling...lord, sometimes the hardest part about working out is getting off the couch.
Can you change mine to losing 10 lbs?
I just purchased a Spinning bike for myself at home--I'm so excited! I decided that while a gym is great, the classes didn't work with my schedule and I didn't want to waste the money if I wasn't going to really go.
QOTD: My motivation is to be healthy and fit into my clothes without having to buy new ones. I have 3 pairs of jeans I'm dying to fit into. I stall when something throws a wrench in my routine--change of schedule, injury, new job, etc. It takes me a while to get into a new routine. As a creature of habit, once something goes awry I'm all messed up!
I've lost three pounds since the last get fit post. I don't know how I did it, since I'm not doing anything differently.
QOTD: My main motivation is being healthier for D. I want to be around to see him get married, have children of his own, see his children having children. I know that won't happen if I don't take care of myself. I really want to look hot too though. I stall mainly because I don't feel good. The weather changes have been kicking my ar$e lately, so I've been sick a lot.
I have lost a total of 15.4 lbs (1stone 1.4 lbs or 7 kilos) I'm so so delighted. Considering how hard it is for me to lose weight with PCOS and hypothyroidism to deal with I am very proud of myself.
I reached the 10km running goal and want to get to 15km soon.
It took 2-3 weeks to lose the first pound but been easier since then. I must have kicked my metabolism into gear. I wore a size-small-skin-tight dress I've had for years for the first time to a wedding last weekend and I looked hawt
QOTD: being able to have a baby motivates me to lose weight as well as the ever present desire to look my best. I stall usually from injuries. I've had a few joint issues and ridiculous bluster issues to deal with but I'm still running. I'm not going to stop. Now, when I run I visualise myself in the near future running with a running stroller and preferably a better behaved dog as a running companion (DH takes him out every 2nd day so I can get a proper, long, non-stop run). I'm running for that stroller with the baby inside of course.
I haven't been doing great lately, but I have managed to get closer to my goal. I am down 6 lbs so I have 4 to go.
I have signed up for a yoga programme with a couple ladies from work so that should help me out a bit!
Could I change my goal to eat healthier and to workout consistently?
I've been on a role expect for this week. I think I might be slightly under the weather and I've been exhausted, however, I do have a class tonight.
I have noticed a difference in my shape and feel more tone, but my weight never budges!
QOTD: Honestly, part of it is I just feel good when I exercise and part of it is narcissism because I want to look good. And we are TTC, and I wanted exercise to be part of that routine before we got pregnant.
I've been doing really well the past 3 weeks. I run/walk with a friend two mornings a week. It feels amazing, I've noticed a tighter butt and flatter belly and I've gone down a size. I don't have a scale so I have no idea how much I've lost so far.
QOTW: 1. to look good 2. to be healthy 3. it feels so good
I stall because I get lazy.
