Has anyone tried Isagenix?
My neighbor sells it and swears by it, I haven't heard much about it. It's different than Body by Vi because it has more cleansing and nutrients. Just curious if anyone knows anything about it. My neighbor looks fantastic, so I'm tempted!
Re: Has anyone tried Isagenix?
I would consult a nutritionist (my chiropractor is one) and do an actual detox/cleanse before drinking something like this. My chiro does the foot bath cleanse. I was going to do it but found out I was pregnant. I do plan to do it after the baby comes though.
My coworker did those meal replacement shakes. Not only did she gain all the weight back once she stopped, she smelled like a fart all the time.

For real.
Was she doing Isagenix? Or something else? My SIL did Body by Vi and I didn't notice her smelling- ha ha. But the cleanse isn't like a colon cleanse or anything. The concept is interesting and I think with any diet, once you stop, you can easily gain the weight back (um hello 6 lbs of 30 lbs that I lost doing WW, didn't take you long to return!!).
It was something else...not Isagenix or Body by Vi. I had never heard of it.
The cleanse I'm thinking of from my chiro is a whole body cleanse to rid your body of toxins at a cellular level. I think cleaning out your bowels is a natural side effect of that.
I'm always leary of products like that. I guess I'd rather do something under my doctor's care and supervision.

Have you ever been to No-Name Nutrition on 72nd & (north of) Blondo? Those people are SO knowledgeable when it comes to natural health options - whatever your ailment.
I just looked up the ingredients to the Isagenix and didn't see much that wouldn't be available at No-Name and I'm guessing it's probably less expensive there (in a dried herb form, most likely, that you could make into tea). The review I read said that Isagenix also didn't have any appetite suppressants in it and they listed that as a "con."
Good luck!
Trent there is VERY knowledgeable. There is also one on 144th & Center, by Shopko/Genji.
