A little backstory: My uncle is dating a woman whose husband died several years ago. My uncle and her have been dating for 4 years or so, and her son just got married a few weeks ago.
She just posted wedding pictures, and one of them is of her son, dressed in his tux, posing next to his father's gravesite with a huge grin on his face. Does anyone else find this morbid?
I get wanting to include your deceased father on your wedding day...but a posed picture next to his headstone? I kind of give that one the side-eye. And especially to his mom for posting it on FB.
Re: Is this morbid?

Ditto. That's a bit odd.
Blog
I don't find it weird and not weird that it was posted on FB . I love going to cemetaries so I guess I'm a little morbid and that's why I don't think it's weird.

The bolded part is pretty much my thought exactly. I could completely understand wanting to capture the moment of visiting his father, but more in a reflection/emotional kind of way. In this picture, the guy was totally sitting on the ground next to his dad's headstone, with one leg crossed over the other, arm propped on his leg, with a huge giant grin.
I could see pictures with the headstone, but not with a big goofy grin on his face. However, I did post this picture on FB, it's my brother (in brown) and my cousin holding my parents urns. I had them sitting at the alter.
