Ok so I work at a resort and we get a lot of honeymooners that come here. I just had a couple come in and they brought another couple with them on their honeymoon. I have also seen parents come with other couples who are on their honetmoons. So I was just wondering, would you have gone on your hm with another couple? Or your parents? I just feel that your hm should be about you and your spouse. I can see the point in having another couple with you as company or whatever but I would prefer to do that on another trip not my hm. I just can't believe how much I see it happen.

We went on a mini honeymoon to Chicago by ourselves, but the big trip we'd planned as our honeymoon was a cruise. My IL's, as well as 2 uncles and 1 aunt of DH's came on the same cruise as well. It was fine, because we had company at dinner and alone time the rest of the day!

We went to san francisco for the 1st 5 days of our hm then flew to Portland to visit some friends. We hadn't been to see them since they'd moved there and figured since it was a short flight we'd do it then. But had the first part to ourselves so this was more like a visit tacked on to our hm. Otherwise no, I wouldn't have brought others with is.

No, I would prefer to be alone on my honeymoon. That's my only reservation with having a destination wedding the 2nd time around -- not sure if I'd want anyone else there who plans on turning my wedding into their vacation...but eh, I guess I'd just have to pick a REALLY big resort so we don't run into anyone! Wink
