ok - mini-vent - i HATE DH's company... (salaried, 12 hour days plus Saturdays and they work him into the ground) and now his ins apparently sucks as my Dr's office won't do an u/s and a follow up on the same day cuz the ins doesn't pay them. yeah like wtf?! why should i suffer and have to drive into the Dirty Riv (Fall River - lol) twice in two days?! PLUS - i'm 9 weeks and i've been reading on the bump that lots of girls find out things aren't going so well around now (as well as my bff) and i really don't want to be all screwed up tomorrow if the u/s person isn't cool and won't tell us anything. grrr. end vent.
so ladies - if i'm having no "negative" symptoms, should i be worried? my symptoms to date have mostly been tiredness, irritability, and hunger! constantly! oh and totally craving bad things... chocolate... carbs... salt... awesome.
on a brighter note... i made my first LO purchase yesterday... a set of Patriots onsies while visiting the field and pro shop! hehe i couldn't help it! (as well as getting my self a new hat and a new red Brady jersey - annnd DH a Wilfork jersey and hat) DH asked if i got anything for Shelby, and i said no but i did get something else... lol then he guessed "little people clothes??" LOL
thanks for listening ladies!
Re: eek - super nervous
That sucks that you have to make 2 separate appointments and it doesn't make any sense. They would rather charge for 2 office visits than one? I don't get it.
I wouldn't be worried if you don't feel like crap. I had some days where I felt relatively fine and then the next day I was back to feeling like death. Just try not to stress out too much and don't look at the bump too much. It's a very scary place over there and I was constantly freaked out because of it.
And yay for little people clothes! Those sound super cute. I'm sure we'll be getting some Ohio State clothes soon enough for DH's alma mater.
In my very unprofessional opinion, it doesn't sound like you should be worried. I know lots of women who have gone through their whole pregnancy never feeling super sick (unlike Mel who apparently barfs all the time!).
Meanwhile, the only reason I really want a baby is to buy teeny tiny little sports clothes so good for you!
Ditto Liz! I wouldn't stress too much. Craving sweets could just mean that it is a girl (according to old wives tale)! Is the doctor ordering your u/s for a specific reason, dating, twins, etc?
And ditto Rach! You don't have to be puking all the time to be pregnant. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones!
