good wednesday morning!
i saw a man with a long, white, fluffy beard today. i thought he wasn't allowed out and about in public until after at least halloween.
we had dinner with some friends last night and it was so delicious and fantastic conversation. we even stayed out until almost 10pm. what a crazy night

Happy hump day!
I was able to work out this morning, so I'm feeling fantastic. And, in preperation for my b pix, I've also decided to (temporarily) cut out alcohol and sugar from my diet. These next few months are going to be rough, hopefully the pics are worth it.

Good morning folks!
I am feeling fat. I'm hoping that it's bloating and it's a sign of an upcoming positive pregnancy test, but deep down I have very little hope. The truth is that I lost 20 pounds earlier this year and since the end of the summer, I haven't been able to get my willpower back and I'm packing the pounds back on. I was hoping to lose some additional pounds after Tman went back to school, but I haven't. I am feeling quite defeated about that right now.
My house is also a mess.
But I'm going to go crazy after I get home from taking Tman to school, and get this place ship shape. Those are my fun plans for the day.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
i'm hoping it's bloat...when do you test?

Good morning. A busy and long day for me today. Hopefully at least the day will go quickly. I have a class and two library tours, I'm observing a class and I have a meeting. Plus I have to get ready for an early morning class tomorrow. No fun.
I really want to go home and bake. I went home sick Monday and made a couple of Christmas cookie recipes that I'll post on my blog in December. So many good things that I want to bake!
Good morning ladies. Dr. Appointment day with my dr's PA today.. I'm hoping I get to hear the babies hear beat.
Other than that, I need to get some sewing done today, so hopefully I'm motivated, even though the weather sucks.. gray and bleary outside
I hate rainy kinda weather!

Good morning!
Been quiet lately. Had spontaneous guests from out of town this past weekend and then ended up catching a 48 hour stomach bug from these kids I was supposed to babysit. Spent only 10 minutes with them on Saturday and come Monday, I was dead. The ability to keep down food and stay awake for more than 15 minutes at a time is seriously not overrated. True facts. But back to work today. Sad.

I'm having another day of cleaning and such. But I have a much needed massage appointment today! I'm hoping to work out the kinks in my back (it's never been quite right since my accident in February), the plantar fasciitis in my feet, and figure out what's going on with my left hip that makes certain parts of my workout so difficult. Then I'll be tearing it up with my trainer. That's about it.

DH and I had a low key evening. We tried a new recipe using our chard from FCF and it was tasty. I was so excited for leftovers when I realized DH finished off the other serving. I hate when he forgets to eat lunch and is starving at dinner.
What was the recipe? It was so pretty! We tried just cutting it up in salad. Not great. We usually pick everything in our FCF box. Last time, we just got their standard order. Did you get the mystery melon? It was listed as "Melon, Farmer's Choice". Weird. Yellow. About 1/3 the size of a honeydew melon. If you look closely, it has fine hair like the leaves of stinging nettle. It doesn't seem ripe. Anyone know what it could be?
I'm taking my daughter to Picture People (Living Social compulsion). We haven't decided on her outfit. It would be fun to do a Halloween costume and crazy makeup... or, we could go with the typical pretty dress... or, something trendy. I need inspiration.

I made a few changes in our last box and then meant to make more and forgot. So this week has been mystery cooking week at our house! I didn't use all the chard, some of the leaves were pretty small and wouldn't work for the recipe.
We didn't get the melon - DH doesn't like melon so I swapped it out for Kale. But the melon certainly sounds interesting!

Nothing new to report here. Just been unpackin' the new house and working..every night. My feet were super swollen last night to the point I swear I could hear the water squishing in there with each step. Super awesome.
I am off tonight and one of my friends in flying into town. We are planning a girls night. Trying to figure out where to go to dinner. Now that the Melting Pot was mentioned...I can't get that out of my head. That or Cheesecake Factory. Leaning more toward the Pot since my paychecks come from CCF and who wants to go there on my days off? ha ha ha

Good morning! I've been catching up on all the posts I missed yesterday. I was MIA because I had a dentist appt and was all numb-faced/mouth-pained and spent my day watching TV.
A wedding photo of mine made my Sorority's Alumnae online newsletter-thing, and that made me happy yesterday. Other than that, nothing going on.

Was he on a bike? There's a guy with a long whispy but fluffy white beard practically to his knees that I frequently saw around Ballard/Magnolia/Fremont on a bike. I'll miss seeing him.
I had my specialist lady doctor appointment at the U yesterday. I'm now scheduled for a battery of other doctor visits: one for specialist med check to see if that's contributing to my issues, one for a dermatologist (since she offered and I haven't officially seen one for my rosacea), and one for um..a pelvic physical therapist! Who is booked until December
But apparently, um, the reason I can't really tell when I try kegels is because I'm ALWAYS tensing all the pelvic muscles. Don't know how to relax them 
At least I have a modicum of hope that I'll be able to participate in sexxaytime soon.
Evening! My work computer got a virus so I can no longer go on the Nest at work...
It's almost the weekend! Yay!
