So, um, any phone recommendations for Verizon? Given the option tonight after DS's bath between dropping him (and falling myself) or dropping
the phone when I slipped on a puddle I missed wiping up (gotta love
crazy toddler splashing during bathtime), the BlackBerry went... and
unfortunately for the BB, it went straight into the still-draining tub.
On the upside, at least I've been due for an upgrade since July!

Stacey, it was, at least, a very dramatic end - DS and I seriously watched it spiraling through the air, destined for the tub, and I couldn't do a thing about it (as DH put it, it was like one of those movie scenes). Pretty funny in retrospect, since DS and I are both fine!
I think I'm leaning iPhone - I'm a self-admitted Apple nerd and have been drooling over it for years. My only issue is that DH and my BFF both have BBs, and I use BBM w/ them constantly... so I don't know. We'll see how generous DH is feeling this afternoon when it comes to decision time, though.

I have an iphone question, I guess thinking about the new 4S. Unless you are storing a lot of music or videos on it, do you find that you need more than the 16 GB version? I mainly just want a phone for internet usage, calls, taking pictures, etc.

That's difficult to have to make a decision so quickly, Ash.
Does anyone have a Droid Bionic? I was reading some comparisons of that and iphone and it gets pretty good reviews.

Do you have any old phones laying around the house (or any friends or family- as long as it's verizon)? You could have an old phone activated for the week until the new iphone comes out. That's what I would do because if not you'll pay $200 for the iphone4 which will become $99 next week when the iphone4S comes out for $200.
I have the standard 8GB (I think) for the iphone 4 and have no problems. I have almost 800 pictures and a couple of videos.... I don't have my full itunes loaded but I have a ton of songs and am happy with it.

Thank you! I'll have to see them in the store to compare, the Bionic is a fair amount larger than the iphone.
