Maybe I am heartless...MJ's Dr's Trial

I'm bored..... I am so over this trial.  I don't understand why everyone thinks that Michael Jackson was this completely innocent person, cared for by some monster.  MJ was whacko..the Doctor obviously did some unethical things but did everyone think he wasn't going to die in some strange, drug induced way?

Re: Maybe I am heartless...MJ's Dr's Trial

  • I'm with you.  I think MJ would have searched and searched for a doctor who would be willing to practice unethically to get what he wanted.  Conrad was the one that accepted the gig.  I think MJ knew exactly what he was doing and knew ther consequences.  To bad Conrad didn't have some document signed by mj stating he knew the risks and if he died should not be held accountable.
  • I agree. I definetly don't think this doctor should be charged with murder, even though it sounds like when Michael's body finally gave out the dr was acting like an idiot. But who knows if at that point if anything would have saved him. I do think he shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine anymore though.
  • I share that same sentiment, but on the other hand - let this be a lesson to douchebag doctors all over the country who over-medicate patients just to placate them..happens everyday!

  • I agree with that---Doctors should have the best interest of the patient in mind. The man shouldn't have a medical license and people should remember what a nut job MJ was :)

And I think that is what they are trying to do with him is teach all doctors out there that are doing similar situations a lesson of what could be if they don't stop it.

All I know is if I have a personal doctor, I want to make sure they know CPR.  Supposedly he didn't and asked others if they knew CPR.  Maybe MJ should have made sure that the doc he hired would be willing to medicate him but also could save his life if something went wrong.
