Hi everyone! Zoe is crawling all over the place and I have been having trouble getting things done around the house and keeping her entertained/safe. The most baby proofed rooms we have are the living room and her room (and we still need to bolt some things to the wall, get stuff off tables, so I never take my eyes off her). She still likes the jumperoo but doesn't like to stay in there for very long anymore. I don't like wearing her around the house because when I'm trying to get stuff done I'm usually bending/cleaning something and it would kill my back. She is a horrible napper. She is averaging two 30 minute naps a day and sleeps from about 10pm -8 or 9:30 am. Right now she has been asleep for an hour but I can't count on this every day. I am going to buy a gate but I am looking around for the best price. The onles I like are $100!
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!
Re: Getting stuff done with a mobile baby
Unfortunately I have no advice - I get nothing accomplished either! One of these days... HA!
Good luck though
We have these gates and love them. I ordered 3 from Amazon, but it looks like they are cheaper at Wal-mart now.... with free shipping to the store.
Once you get the hang of how they operate, they are super easy and definitely not something even a toddler could ever figure out. (You have to pinch the buttons on both sides and then push down on the lever)
Good luck with Zoe!

Ha, if I knew I would tell you!
Babyhood to toddlerhood is an adjustment for everyone
Eventually you will learn how to juggle everything at once and Zoe will become more independent. Does she have enough toys to play with? Macy really didn't have a good selection until after her first birthday.
But seriously, I struggle with this daily. Keeping a clean house with a toddler is no easy task. Throughout the day I am either cleaning, entertaining the baby, cooking or grocery shopping. I never get to sit down and veg out until the baby is bed. Some days it's draining.
Baby Macy is here!
