to those who sub...

...are there any good blogs or sites you frequent?  I was looking for subbing blogs, but can't seem to locate any.  Maybe I just need to start one?

TIA!

**Also, how do you add subbing to your resume? Do you list the school district or grades or subject matter? Seems it would/could be very vague-esp if you don't do any LTS jobs.

Re: to those who sub...

  • I sub as a para (and at a child care center). As a para I do basically the same handful of things so I just list off those things on my resume and on applications. And definitely put it on your resume otherwise it'll look like a gap in employment that you'll have to explain anyway.

I'm a teacher and when I did my resume, I just put the date and school districts. Then in interviews, you can always say you've worked with a range of grades or subjects.
