Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

DH and I put in a request to stay longer at our current assignment and we found out today it was denied. No reason as to why, but we are going to try and submit a second packet. We have been assigned to Hawaii for 3 years, but two were spent in Iraq so I thought that would be reason enough to let us stay longer. All well. Take two here we go. <vent complete>

anyways, DH is going to look into re enlisting for stabilization so hopefully we can stay. We just arent ready to leave yet since we have only had 11 months on island and a lot of that was pre deployment training.

Hmmm well we have family on island so we're always busy. Plus with Hawaii being halfway to CA (where I am from) and halfway to GU (where DH is from) Hawaii is perfect for us.
