Hello Everyone,
How long after you signed contract did you have appraisal done?
Our closing date is 31st and the appraisal will only be next week, so i am a little scared that it is taking too long.

Our Process:
4th and Final Offer: Sept 13th
Final Offer Accepted: Sept 14th
Our Inspection: Sept 20th
Close Date Set for Oct 14th
Had to Switch Lenders/Case Successfully Transferred: Sept 27
New Close Date Set for Oct 21st
Appraisal: Oct 3rd
Received Appraisal Report: Oct 4th
Forwarded All Inspection Fixes and Mandatory Appraisal Fixes to Seller: Oct 4th
Still waiting to hear back from the seller.
The longest and most stressful part so far was waiting for the loan to get approved by the underwriter, which is why we had to switch lenders. After the approval you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

Inspection Sept 30th
All contracts for mortgage signed.
Waiting for appraisal next week
Closing 31st.
So i am hoping appraisal will be good and we close on time
