WTF co-worker...no one likes you because you are two-faced. I'm so over you!
WTF Cardinals! HTF can you leave 14 runners on base last night and only score 2 runs! You need to get you sh!t together tonight and win.
WTF Mother Nature! It's October meaning it's fall, so why is the forecast for the forseeable future for highs in the 80s. I'm sure come January I will wishing for these days, but I want cooler weather darn it. Plus, how can we enjoy our family hayride this weekend when it's 85* out?!
LMAO! I know exactly what you mean. Last Thursday I was a mess. I cried from the time I got home until I went to sleep. I finally figured out that it was severe PMS brought on by Clomid. I felt like I was going nuts b/c that isn't like me at all. DH was so sweet about it even though I know it freaked him out.
Lots of WTFs for me today (it's been one of those weeks)
WTF1: Termite invasion in our apartment!!! Ugh, at least we rent and don't own, but it's so grose!
WTF2: I so busy at work, I haven't been able to sit down until now (and that's only because I'm just procrastinating on the obscene amount of work I have to do today)
WTF3: I caught a cold, boooooooo! Though I'm not surprised because I've been challenging my immune system like crazy these last few weeks.
WTF4: My grandma went from healthy to hospice in the matter of days - she had a stroke, arrhythmia, and lung cancer diagnosis all in one day! (I just went to visit her last minute this weekend in Texas, which is why my week is so crazy now)

Here's one you gals hear often from me & let's be honest, you'll hear it for years to come.
WTF is up with DH's EX??? She went totally BSC crazy last Wednesday. When she can into DH's office she completely lost it about the $$$ that she owes DH. (((Backstory: She owes him about $1200 for SD's orivate scool tuition. It is written in their custody agreemant that she has to pay 1/2. SH pays it & she pays him back usually by just giving him back his child support checks - therefore she has NO record. Stupid, huh?))) Anyway, first she's yelling & I mean YELLING that she doesn't owe it & that she had figured out that he had been cheating her for years (total BS) then her story changes to that she knows she owes it but the judge (are we going back to court??) would never make her pay it back b/c she's a single mother who's grandparents just died. WTF?? She dissolved into a hysterical, emotional mess & began to make irrational comments/accusations one being that she "knows" that DH is having to go to the doctor for Viagra (Um, hell not he isn't - there is absolutely no need there, believe me), and that he is forcing her to "live in the ghetto where she can't even get cell service in her house". Again, WTF??
It was so bad that MIL wanted to call the police b/c EX was so out of control. I know you're wondering 2 things. First, no I wasn't there (I wouldn't have handled that well so it's a blessing) and second, SD was in EX's car during the altercation & couldn't see or hear anything. The sad part is that the episode lasted about 30 + minutes so there's no doubt that SD knew something was going on.
I know this is a terrible thing to say but there's a special place in he!! for this woman.
PS - Yes, she does owe DH the $$ & he has the records to prove it. Oh, another funny thing. She told DH that she's going to take him back to court to get more Child Support so she can afford to pay him. Stupid biotch.
Let's all say it together, WTF!!
We went through the termite thing before the wedding....it was SO nasty!
I'm sorry about your grandma...sending P&PT!

Sorry about all of the typos.
So sorry about your grandma. I'll keep her in my prayers. ::HUGS::
@ Margaret - sorry to hear about your grandma.
@ George-Anne - wellllllllll this is one of those stories that just makes me excited because I'm SURE you documented it (right? right??) and one day you and Nelson will have full custody of Sarah. P.S. - my phone totally does not work in my house and I live in one of the nicest parts of town :P
My WTF is going to get its own post.
@ Margaret, ditto tons of T&Ps for you and your grandma!
@ George-Anne, Holy cow does EX take any meds that make her go crazy, or is she off what she should take to keep herself "normal"?? How can a person live like that acting so bizarre all the time. It would take so much energy just to think up this sh!t!! You keep being the awesome stepmom that you are and SD will hopefully realize soon that her mom is nuts!
@ Julie, I am so sorry for your loss
I hope you have plenty of tissues around (j/k I like to tease! I'm sure you'd be coming after me if it were the other way around
)
WTF My brother from Indiana might be "stopping by" this weekend! I think it's cool b/c they're going to have baby #2 in November and probably wouldn't visit over the Christmas holidays (and I have NOTHING planned this weekend but every other weekend in October I have stuff going on), but my dad is probably having a cow. He doesn't like the routine to be broken essentially, which is sad he's already acting like an "old person" who doesn't like change, and he's only 62!

@Georgeanne...ooo boy. Is this woman on drugs or an alcoholic? This behavior is completely irrational..it's getting worse and worse!!!
@Marick - so sorry about grandma's condition...big hug for you!
Darn right we did!! I made DH tell me the whole conversation & her actions as I typed. At the bottom of the page long documentation I put, " I hold these statements to be true & accurate." Then DH, signed & dated it & we have it in a safe place. I also have a copy on my computer at home & my computer @ work - both w/o the signature.
EX has emotional problems & it's actually in the custody agreement that she has to stay under a doctor's care for her mental health & anxiety. When she started to get out of control (emotionally) last Wednesday DH asked her if she was taking her medication. He realized after he said it that it really wasn't a good thing to say b/c it made her even more irrational & out of control. I don't think that it's necessarily a bad thing that he asked since SD was going home with her that day.
She's not an alcoholic or on drugs, that we know of although she does have prescription Xanex (sp?). Unfortunately, this is just how she is. Apparently money is pretty tight for her right now, she owes DH, her car is not running properly so she's driving her boyfriend's truck and her younger daughter just had a birthday last Friday & her party is this weekend. If EX was doing every thing that she could financially & emotionally for her children and putting thier needs before her own I would feel sympathy for her & we would gladly help her out. However, she gets her nails done regularly, gets pedicures, highlights for her hair, go out to eat almost EVERY night, etc, etc. She is not responsible with her $$ & her children suffer. At some point when you're a parent (even a Step) you have to put your need behind those of the child(ren).
Oh, and DH has NEVER once asked her about paying the money back or given her any kind of deadline. Everytime it has ever been dicussed whether by email or verbally it is b/c SHE has brought it up. DH knows he won't see that money that she owes him anytime soon, if ever.
If you've read this far, thank you. It feels good to get this off my chest.
@George-Anne- WOW to have that in a custody agreement that she has to stay under a Dr's care is a huge statement about her. Sounds like she has really messed up priorities if she spends in all the wrong spots. We deal with that somewhat too w/my stepkids, it's hard to see kids not getting attention where its needed and all the wrong things are put first. (i.e. taking kids to an amusement park but never making sure their homework is done or they get fed healthy meals)
You must be such a strong person, and Nelson too, to deal with that. My DH struggles with the aforementioned things but I know from you he has it easy! I'm happy to listen anytime since I have a small understanding of the frustration that can be present with stepkids and exes.
