My mom just called to tell me that while driving up to Maine, she saw a quadruple rainbow. The first three were full arcs, with the bottom one being the brightest. But she definitely saw 4 distinct bands. Then after those rainbows faded, further up the road she saw another double rainbow. Very cool. I just wish she could have pulled over and snapped a picture
