As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

XP: M's 1st dentist appt
Mariela had her 1st dentist appointment today to have her extra right upper lateral incisor looked at and it went well. It was also pretty quick. I held her on my lap, so there's no pics and she did cry but it was more from being held while her dentist showed us how to hold her and brush her teeth well. There should be no problems with her extra tooth, but there will be crowding (they are already both crooked) so we have to be sure to keep her teeth extra clean. It could be a PITA if she were to get any cavities in those two teeth b/c he doesn't know how the nerves are connected or if it's even one tooth and connected under the gum, plus with the crowding it could be difficult to reach. She's too young for x-rays, but he did say the chances of her having an extra adult tooth in the front is slim. It's common in wisdom teeth more than anything or it's more common to be missing a tooth. I asked if one of these teeth could be her adult tooth in early and he said, "no". We also have to keep an eye on it when it comes time for her to lose her baby teeth as she may have trouble losing one or both of them and they might have to be pulled.
Our gal is special and will get some extra mulah from the Tooth Fairy none-the-less! Oh, and she was so proud to take home her new toothbrush.
