So last night my little brother called to tell me he is being deployed to Kuwait. He isn't gong to be on the "battle lines" but working on base, but just the thought of him there...kills me.So .. yeah. I feel so numb about the situation.
Re: Um..yeah...
This is not what I expected when I opened this post. I can't say that I know how you're feeling, and I can't imagine what a difficult thing this must be for your family. I'm sure you're all so proud that your brother is fighting for our country, though. xoxo
I couldn't have said it better. I'll keep him & your family in my prayers.
::hugs::

April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Ditto pps...not what I expected this morning.
One of my ex-bf went to Kuwait and was just fine. He was a medic over there, so he was not on the front lines, but it's still scary. Just remember his is doing this to protect our freedoms. You can still skype with him and communicate, but it will be hard. Lots of T&Ps for your entire family.
Oh wow, I cant imagine how you feel, having a family member sent over there.
I do have a lot of military friends who have gone over though, and all of them have returned home totally unharmed (except for a friends DH who broke his leg while jumping into a pool on his off time, which I wont really count). I even know a girl who is EOD and has remained unharmed through numerous deployments.
And a big thank you to your brother for his service to our country. He will be in my thoughts and prayers.
