Re: weekend plans
Wow, that all sucks Shmooz. Hope things turn around for you soon!
My BFF will be here this weekend so I'm excited. She's coming with her friends that are going to the UT/GA game so we'll probabably tailgate with them. Other than that I'm not sure.
You girls and your foliage - makes me laugh.
Why do you say that (just curious, not being defensive or anything)? I have lived here all my life and never explored the leaves changing colors, only the trees in my backyard. Plus we didn't pay for the hotel so I'm down to go away whenever.
Kare you're so silly...I would love to have some! Down here we're lucky if the leaves change for a week before it goes into winter mode. I love fall prettiness haha
Shmoozer wow that is a lot...hope you two can relax.
I have tomorrow off since the daycare is closed so I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that I'm feeling good and that I can do all the laundry and tidy up the house some. Then taking Ava to Party City so we can get her stuff for her bday party since my weekends will be pretty full from here on out. Then grocery shopping.
Saturday LSU plays Florida but it's at 2:30. I thought about going to tailgate but where I'd have to park to get free parking will probably be pretty full quite early since it's a silly 2:30 game. But thinking ahead I just don't forsee us going. So I may take her out for a few hours.
Saturday watching the game and hopefully doing more tidying and relaxing.
Sunday totally relaxing and watching football all day
Friday night is grocery shopping and probably taping in the nursery to prep for painting.
Saturday is beginning painting and going to IKEA to get nursery furniture. Then probably just hanging out at home.
Sunday is probably more painting and some work around the house.
sorry, kare, i think you're in the minority for not caring about foliage. it's very popular. it's gorgeous here, too. the leaves fall like rain. the only thing i don't like is raking them but i usually try to not to be around for that
schmooz - i'm sorry your h is going through all that. will he be able to work eventually?
i'm going on a walk with my SIL if my new tennies come in in time (bella peed on my others so i had to throw them out). if not we'll do something else like go to the farmer's market or out to lunch. other than that... i can't think of anything. i don't think the redskins are playing sunday so we'll probably do something adventurous.
The only day we have plans for is Saturday. We are going to the farmers market and dinner with the in laws. I hope to find some fun fall decorations at the farmers market!
We have house plans...J needs to finish the stairs/landing for our back entryway. I have to tear up the tile in the kitchen and start laying the new flooring.
I'd like to take a break on Sunday and go to a fall festival thing. I bought a groupon for a place that has a corn maze, we'll get 32 lbs of pumpkins!, plus they have cider and other fun stuff going on.
It's a long weekend because of Columbus day, so if I get the flooring done, I'm going to start painting the kitchen (still have not decided on a color).
Friday- I will deman my husban to take me to the movies and Gigi will pend the night at my parents ( I think).
Saturday- Will pick up Gigi in the morning and will take her to an science event (for kids) my husband will be at for his master's program.
Sunday- Church and relax. Maybe I'll tell husband to take us to the beach.
So sorry, hope everything resolves soon. Have fun!
thanks for the kind words ladies.
He will be able to work once he is insured. The cheapest quote we received was $4,000/year. We were paying $600. Big difference. And it's not monthly payments. It's one lump sum payment. #(*&#$*( ME.
Friday - sushi date, hit up 2 birthday parties, and probably pass out in my friends backyard lol
Saturday - nail apt and football and beer
Sunday - probably more football and beer
First weight loss goal - 40lbs... DONE! Second weight loss goal - 17lbs...
oh noooooooo... i'm sorry. CRAP!
