Do you think her body is really under the slab of cement in his dad's backyard? Does dad know about this? HMMM thoughts?????

I think it's crazy that while they were searching for her the authorities didn't think it was weird that his dad was doing a landscape project in his backyard. Including new cement.
I'm wondering now if the dad was involved in the cover up, if there is one. How would you hide a body in cement in someone's backyard without them knowing?
I do hope it is her so that her family can finally have some closure, although we've obviously known that she was no longer alive.
I hope they find her. I remember being in a marketing class with her cousin while the trial was going on.
While I think it is odd they didn't put two and two together regarding the timing of the slab work and timing of the crime but who knows what stories were made.
and I just read in owh that his dad did some bizarre experiment with pig's blood to prove that it was her period that caused all the blood on the bed...umm what abou the ceiling?
also heard her mom's plea just to find some part of her body so that they have closure...how sad
I think it's fishy for sure that his dad had cement laid around that time.
That said, I think she's under there. I think dad helped in some way. Whether he was forced, coerced or did it on his own I don't know. As gruesome as it is, I hope she's there so her family can have a proper burial and get some closure. They've suffered enough

I haven't read any of the new news out yet, but I thought that she was pregnant? Wasn't she originally going to his house that night to tell him? Maybe I am crazy.
I think the Dad was in on the cover up. He seemed sketchy the whole time this was going on and I definitely think that she is under that patio. What I want to know is: a) Who tipped off the police this time? Did the dad? and b) Why would they have note checked his residence the first time around? Isn't it odd that he was pouring a new patio when his son was thought to be disposing of a body? Especially since the Dad was so much on his side.
Its all just gross. I hope that her family can get some closure from this.
I remember this too. I thought he said that she just told him she was pregnant so he wouldn't break up with her? I don't know if they ever really confirmed either way if she was or if she wasn't? And I also thought at one time during the trial or something that he said he 'accidently' killed while trying to perform a home abortion or some crazy thing like that???
Yeah, he was living with his aunt not far from our old apartment. You'd think they would check residences of people close to him. Especially, if his father was living in town, and he could easily get there.
ETA: I think his aunt's house was right around 120th and Blondo, so it isn't far at all from where his dad's house is located.
Did you guys see the picture of the mattress? They showed it on the news last night - it was COVERED in blood. If that was someone's period, it killed them.
Also, disgusting that that little pig slept on that bed for what, a month (?) after all this.. wtf?!
On the news last night neighbor's said the cops interviewed the dad and visited his house but they were doing extensive landscaping etc. in the backyard....also claims that a cousin or second cousin are the ones telling police that the body is back there. And to use sonar to try to detect a body like they do in mass graves in foreign countries is crazy use of technology!
I am hoping they find the body b/c of the CSI inspector (Steve?) that messed up with the Murdock murders was the lead investigator and there were rumors for awhile that the family was going to try to get the son off that he planted evidence again....
I never heard she was pregnant. I thought they tried to say the blood was from her period.
I hope they find her just so the family can have closure. Either way it is a horrible story and I can't even imagine what pain she went through.
He was convicted, so no longer "alleged".
This whole story is unbelievably sad. So senseless. I, too, hope they find a piece of her body so the family can have closure.
Yeah, it is speculated that she was pregnant and either told him that night or had recently told him. The news story on KETV (I think that is the one) said that he told someone "he had made a mistake" and gotten her pregnant. The article also says that he had gotten someone else pregnant before as well. No mention of whether or not the girl had an abortion or if he has a kid out there.
