I'm bored, so I'm gonna start this post again this week. Happy Thursday!
I'm thankful for my DH. He is being extra supportive and caring knowing that I am dealing with a lot mentally & emotionally right now. He's doing his best to keep me from being too mad/upset at myself over this whole induction thing (part of me knows there is nothing I did wrong to force this, and if it comes to it, it will be what is best for the LO). He's also done a lot to help me keep the house looking nice (just in case I do suddenly go into labor). He's also gotten educated on inductions and will be going to my doctor appointment with me tomorrow so I don't have to have the induction discussion with my doc by myself.

I'm so thankful and grateful that I got a day shift part time position! That's like hitting the lottery in nursing as a lpn. You just don't get that position right away! Also they gave me plenty of time to get everything else situated before I start. which I have a lot to do.
Also, my son is going into day care which means I can try to gain some of my sanity back, have time to go to the gym and really start losing weight. (i blame my husband and child, lol)
Congrats on the job Deb! That does sound like an ideal position.
I am thankful for fall-the changing leaves and pumpkin pie blizzards especially!
I am grateful for the upcoming 3 day weekend! Thanks Mr. Columbus!
I'm also thankful for one of the aides I work with- She and the teacher she normally is partnered up with have let me borrow her today (and tomorrow) during one of my difficult class periods. The extra adult really helps- once there were two of us circling the room and monitoring the students the talking and off task behavior completely stopped. This is the second biggest class I have (30 students), so now I just have to figure something out for my biggest class (32). It really is interesting how just a few more students in the room change the dynamic- my smaller classes (25, 19, and 24) have better grades/test scores than the larger ones.
I am so thankful for your aides helping out too! I recall all too well how those difficult classes can be. I hope you can find a solution for your class of 32 - My last year teaching I had all classes of 31-33, so I know how though those big groups can be.
