what doctor to go to? Renewal time has come around on my health insurance and since I've been at my job for a year (yay!) I can go from the county's HMO program to a PPO. I basically didn't even use the insurance last year because my OB/GYN wasn't within the HMO and I don't usually go to a general practitioner (my OB/GYN does very comprehensive exams). But I feel like I should find a GP to go just to start going for yearly check-ups.
So, out of a whole system of doctors within an insurance plan how do you pick one?

I usually try to go with word of mouth from friends. I also go with doctors who have privileges at my hospital of choice. I do also look up their healthgrades patient reviews.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
