Halloween Costume Help
I recently found a super short black and white polka dot dress at Nordstrom Rack for $8, score! Now I am trying to figure out what to be for Halloween with the dress, since that would be the only day out of the year I would wear such a scanky thing!
Anyway, the dress looks like this: http://halloweencostumesworldwide.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Minnie-Mouse-Costume-300x300.jpg and originally I was going to have heart stockings and try to make it the Queen of Hearts, but it is just not looking right. So while I feel a little weird going as Minnie Mouse (DH will not go as Mickey), I am thinking I should stick to that because I just need to get mouse ears and I am good to go. DH has suggested I be Katy Perry and wear the dress and just dye my hair black. We are going to a friend's halloween party and I want to be dressed to impress. Which would you go as, Minnie or Katy Perry?

If you're going to be Katy Perry, you have to make sure that people will actually know who you're supposed to be.
If you go as Minnie, everyone will know who you are. I personally wouldn't know who you were if you went as Katy Perry. I've heard the name but I don't even know what she looks like.
That is a possibility, he looks so gross though! Given this crowd of people, I think most would know who she is and I might have a sign or something like that that says " I kissed a girl" or "California Girl"
I think this is a really good idea.
Have you DH get a long black wig and cut it to the right length, and then go to goodwill or somewhere and get a suit that too small.

Or, you could just get one of those sticky "Hello My Name is" sticker, and write-in "Katy"
