Did you have all of your appliances before you started? I want to order everything now so I can do the piping/wiring/etc perfectly, but chris thinks we can wait since if it was replacements things might be slightly askew anyway.
Re: kara/kitchen remodels
We had the range, microwave, and fridge but mostly because we bought them along the way (the range that came in the house needed to be replaced badly, so we bought a new one 3 years ago and got the microwave that went with it - that sat in the box until this summer). The fridge we got a great deal on last year, so we bought it. The only thing we didn't have until we did the renovation was the new DW - We bought it right before we were ready to install it.
I think for the most part wiring options are the same and it won't really matter if you have the appliances ahead of time or not (we bought the DW toward the end because Tim didn't want to risk something happening do it amidst all the construction/sitting in the garage). That said, I
new appliances so I'd probably put up the same argument that you are just so I could have them sooner
