FH and I have been living together for a year and a half now and I just feel less connected. We were both working but now I'm in school two days a week and am at home alone otherwise (been trying to find a job no luck). And I feel like we used to be best friends and talk about everything now were just blah and our sex lifes gotten that way too. Is this normal and any advice on how to pep this relationship up? He's my best friend and the love of my life I just wish the passion was still as strong!
Re: Spark??
What do you do together? I suggest things to do -- it'll enrich your lives, plus you'll have more time together: volunteer, night classes, co-ed sport (or maybe ballroom dancing or martial arts), subscribe to a local college's music/theatre performance season list, etc.

A Parachute in an Oak Tree: A World of Love
If you guys (you and he) really love each other and want to be together...the rough spots in your relationship will happen....and are expected....be patient....that is all
Unemployment can really take a toll on you. Even if you don't know you're stressed, you could be stressing subconsciously. Stress will wear you down and naturally, decrease your sex life.
If you know you still love your FH and there's no one else for you, then it's just a phase. Especially the longer you two are together, the passion will come & go; just as long as the love is always there.
You two need a date to reconnect. Put aside 1 night a week (more or less to get you both back to where you need to be) and just be together. Cook dinner and relax together, talk, do something fun - whatever it is, make sure you're alone together & the focus is just on eachother.
You two will rekindle that flame in no time...just don't put a time frame or pressure on it - it will happen. Try a new activity together where you both can learn something new & discuss it afterward...whatever your 'couple style' may be - or just have a lowkey night at home. Show affection, listen to eachother's thoughts - just enjoy eachother.
