Lets talk about: Snow Boots
I have started to look at snow boots for M for this winter and am I really going to need to spend $25 to $50 for these? Call me crazy but that seems so high for something that she won't wear a ton. I don't spend this on her regular shoes. Any thoughts, advice or help with a good brand or brands to stay away from would be helpful! TIA!
Re: Lets talk about: Snow Boots
I'm not big on second hand shoes, but boots might be something you could get at a consignment shop at a lower cost. Generally, like you said, kids don't wear them much, so they probably don't get as much of a foot imprint in them.
Otherwise, famous footwear usually has some deals and Target comes out with Champion brand boots I think.
There's also a brand, Stonz, where you can put them over you kids' shoes, so they're bigger than their regular size and last a couple of seasons.
Target has some for $17.99 and $20. Though their website says they are in stock all over Des Moines, I haven't seen them in the couple of stores I've been in this week (West Glen, Ankeny). They must still be in the back.
This is the first year I'm even going to buy Nicholas boots. We haven't played outside much in the snow, so I just put extra layers of socks on him and put him in his biggest pair of shoes.
What size is she in? Aubrey apparently has tiny feet so the ones I had when Ava was 1.5-2yrs old are going to be too big and they were only worn a handful of times. If you are interested, they are pink and a size 8..
But otherwise, yes, they are about $20-25 even at Target
Thanks, M is in a 6/7 now, so I don't know if an 8 will be too big. But by March we might be able to do an 8 or just wear some extra socks LOL. How much are you wanting for them? You can email me kalamoore at hotmail or facebook me michaela adams moore Thanks!
