Couples Halloween Costumes Brainstorming

I need ideas. I'm not a fan of store-bought costumes, so we always just piece something together. I figured if we all just started brainstorming ideas or just list things you've been in the past, it'll give us all some good idea. Any takers?

In the past we've been:

Barbie and Ken

Amy Whinehouse and Blake whatever (her husband)

Each other

"Peace and Quiet" (me: hippie, him: mime)

Mac n Cheese

Love this!!!  I need to remember this for next year.

I like the Mario and Princess idea too!

Scott and I went as Wolverine and Rogue one year, that was way easy - he worse jeans and a wifebeater, and we bought the wig, dog tags, and hands with the claw deals on them.  I wore jeans, a black shirt, black long gloves, and bought clip-in white hair extentions.

  • We have been Harry Potter/Hermione, victorian ghost bride/groom (the year we got married), Alice/White rabbit, 60's flight attendant & pilot. We always make our costumes-no store bought or slutty costumes. This year it was either Mario/luigi or Mr/Mrs pacman. Let us know what you decide!!!
  • This yr we are being a flapper and a gangster and a few yrs ago we were popeye and olive oil.

  • I got nothing... we rarely dress up in syncing costumes, much to my dismay.  I think the closest was last year when he was Billy Mays and I was a French maid.  This year he's not even coming to our annual Halloween party because he'll be at a bachelor party, so I am on my own, or dressing up with the girls if we can decide on an idea.
